Mr. Lancaster has been an energy lawyer for over 40 years with extensive energy experience in domestic and international upstream, midstream, downstream, retail, mergers & acquisitions, and marine operations as the primary focus of his career and a secondary focus in both private practice and in-house on real estate and complex litigation matters across the United States.

His career has more recently included serving as senior executive and legal advisor for dozens of entrepreneurial energy and real estate-related businesses for TxEx Energy Investments, LLC and previously serving in various senior executive, legal, business development, and land management roles for companies such as Ashland Inc., J. M. Huber Corporation, BP, and Mitsui E&P USA LLC. He also practiced as a lawyer in private practice, including being a Partner with Duane Morris LLP and Of Counsel with Baker & McKenzie, where he practiced energy law with a concentration in domestic, international and energy project development, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and creditor rights matters. He has a B.A. Degree from West Virginia University and a J.D. Degree from the University of Miami.
